- Develop, maintain, and update Level I, II, III, and IV schedules using Primavera P6 for oil & gas storage tank construction projects.
- Breakdown scope into WBS (Work Breakdown Structures) and assign detailed activities with appropriate durations and resource loading.
- Create detailed construction schedules, including erection sequences, fabrication timelines, tank bottom installation, shell courses, roof structures, nozzles, internal piping, testing, and painting.
- Incorporate engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction milestones into the integrated project schedule.
2. Progress Measurement and Reporting
- Establish and implement progress measurement systems using productivity norms and physical progress quantification methods.
- Prepare S-curves, histograms, earned value management (EVM) reports, variance reports, and critical path analysis.
- Provide periodic updates (daily/weekly/monthly) and forecasts to clients and senior management.
3. Interface and Coordination
- Coordinate closely with construction managers, procurement teams, site supervisors, quality inspectors, and subcontractors to obtain updates and synchronize timelines.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, quality control, safety, and HSE departments to ensure logical sequencing of activities.
- Identify potential delays and bottlenecks and recommend mitigation strategies.
4. Resource and Cost Planning
- Work with the cost control team to integrate cost-loaded schedules and monitor budget vs actual performance.
