1. Lecturer

2. Assistant Professor
- Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Experience: No prior experience is required.
- Publications: Not mandatory.
3. Associate Professor
- Qualification: PhD in the relevant field from an HEC-recognized university/institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Publications: The applicant must have 10 research publications, with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals. Additionally, IBA requires three papers in the current ‘W’ classification of journals as listed by the HEC, in addition to the 7 papers.
4. Professor
- Qualification: PhD from an HEC-recognized institution in the relevant field.
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC-recognized university or postgraduate institution, or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.
- Publications: The applicant must have 15 research publications, with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years in HEC-recognized journals. Similar to the Associate Professor criteria, IBA requires three papers in the current ‘W’ classification of journals as listed by the HEC, in addition to the 12 papers.
General Notes:
- Candidates with a doctoral degree from a reputed university in core or allied fields will be preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to attract national or international research funding is desirable.
- Applicants should exhibit a strong commitment to scholarly research and publication.
