Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain, Vice Chancellor of the University of Home Economics Lahore, met with Chairman PHEC Dr. Farrukh Naveed and appreciated his initiatives on introducing KPIs, enhancing quality education, strengthening governance, and promoting the Transnational Education (TNE) Policy.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain expressed her appreciation for the strategic initiatives taken by the PHEC under the leadership of Dr. Farrukh Naveed. She commended the introduction of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Vice Chancellors, aimed at ensuring accountability, transparency, and measurable outcomes in higher education institutions across Punjab.
She also acknowledged the Commission’s ongoing efforts to elevate the quality of education, reinforce good governance practices, and promote the recently developed Transnational Education (TNE) Policy, which opens new avenues for international academic collaboration and student mobility.
The meeting reflected a shared vision of strengthening the higher education sector in Punjab through data-driven policies, performance-based evaluation, and global engagement.
